ANU NCI
The Super Computer facility at the ANU is wrapped beautifully in four different VM Zinc colours with a range of standing seam panels.
Working with zinc requires a high level of trade skill to crimp and fold all the pieces. When done by our skilled Tradesmen, no silicone is required to create a watertight façade.
The highlight of the façade are the “kites” on the northern elevation which let the plant room breathe. Each kite is unique in size, adding to the project’s complexity. Given the nature of zinc, panels can’t be scribed and adjusted. Panels hook and crimp to each other under the patient and skilled hands of our Tradesmen.
The results speak for themselves now that this super computer facility has updated VM zinc standing seam panels and kites surrounding the facility.
