Surry Hills Shopping Precinct
Eifer spent 29 months on site for the Surry Hills shopping precinct built by Toga. What a great first project to do in Sydney.
Our scope began in January 2022 with the structural framing to the commercial building with all of the window shrouds.
Later in the year we began construction on all of the awnings. Then there was balustrades, planter boxes, terrace entry portals and gates.
The awnings were a highlight for us, surrounding the precinct in a stunning wave. This was a large-scale technical detail that perfectly fit our skill set. From steel framing to 6mm solid curved fabricated fascia panels and rolled soffit sheets.
It was a great experience managing a technical project from Canberra with this level of technical difficulty. Collaborating with different approaches to construction working in the heart of Sydney, We couldn’t have asked for a better client in Toga to go on the journey with.
